Detailed Spoilers for Week 4/19/10

Patty squirms when Jack presses “Emily” for proof that she’s pregnant

Jack accepts “Emily’s” word for it when she gives him the name of her doctor

Jack confides his mixed feelings about the pregnancy to Phyllis

Phyllis wonders why Emily didn’t share the pregnancy test experience with her husband

It occurs to Jack that his wife might be lying to him

Jack wonders if he ever really loved his latest bride

Placing a phone call to “Emily’s” doctor gives Jack some interesting information – the guy is a cardiologist, not an OB!

Jack tries to force “Emily” to reveal the truth when he makes an appointment for her with Phyllis’s doctor

Patty struggles to keep her rage under control as Jack insists they’re going together to an OB… or else!

Phyllis reacts cattily when “Emily” arrives and confronts her about her interference

“Emily” warns Phyllis to keep away from her husband

Phyllis responds by revealing Jack’s cold feet about his precipitate marriage

Patty flips out and starts making threats

Phyllis gets concerned and tries to phone Jack

Faking severe, Patty cries out that something is wrong with her baby

When Jack comes home, “Emily” tells him that she miscarried

Jack raises the question of whether or not “Emily” was really pregnant

Patty stalks off to cool down before she loses her grip again

Patty finds a way to place the blame for her miscarriage on Phyllis

Victoria phones her worried parents and tells them she’s been arrested

The Newmans hustle to the police station to be with their beleaguered daughter

Meanwhile, Owen and Chance conclude that Victoria couldn’t possibly be the killer

However, they continue the case and wait for Victoria’s bail hearing

Jill gets wind of a tantalizing scoop for Restless Style – Victoria Newman has been arrested for the murder of her own half brother!

Bribery proves effective as Jill pays for a copy of Victoria’s mug shot

Jill publishes the lurid tale on the RS website, infuriating Billy

Despite his outrage, Billy can’t bring himself to fire his clueless mother

At Victoria’s arraignment, the DA puts up a fight when the question of bail is raised

Billy can’t stand it when Victoria doesn’t stand up for herself and reveal her alibi

The judge denies bail

Victoria is shocked when she hears Billy’s voice

Desperate, Victoria tries to warn Billy away from blowing her story

Billy reveals that Victoria couldn’t have killed Adam because she was with him!

Victoria is mortified as her parents and husband react to the spectacle Billy just created

The judge demands that Victoria tell the truth… was she or was she not having sex with Billy Abbott the night of Adam Newman’s murder?

Victoria denies being with Billy, calls him a liar, and is taken into custody

Later, JT visits Victoria and asks her to tell him the truth

Victoria finds herself unable to face her husband

Sadly, JT realizes that his wife has been unfaithful yet again

JT decides that Victoria must be covering for the real killer… her father

Disgusted and frustrated, JT leaves

Billy arrives and explains that he did what he did in order to help her

Victoria is furious and coldly tells her lover that he means nothing to her

Billy leaves as the Newman family gather for a jailhouse consult with Michael Baldwin

Victoria tries to get rid of her family, but before she can do so, Michael reveals the murder weapon: the pen!

Nick claims ownership of the pen, which Victoria already knew, because it was her gift to him

Victoria tries to convince her family that the pen is hers

It becomes obvious to everyone that Victoria is sacrificing herself for her brother’s sake

Victoria implores Nick to keep the secret as the district attorney arrives for a talk

Nick does the right thing… Nick tells the DA Victoria is protecting him

Victoria is distraught that her sacrifice won’t keep her brother safe

However, Nick is protecting someone else

The Newman family struggles to find a way through the dangerous mess they’ve made

Emily tries again to get someone to listen to her

Emily’s brother Jamie arrives

Heather approaches Billy with an idea

Sarah reveals that she was Patty’s nurse at the South American plastic surgery clinic

Patty agrees to play along with Sarah and help her with Michael

Sarah and Patty make a mutually agreeable pact

Ashley sets up a romantic surprise for Neil

Neil and Ashley find themselves on the brink of consummating their relationship

Sudden family problems forces the lovebirds to delay their happiness, possibly forever
